விண்வெளி வீரர்களுடன் பறக்க இருக்கும் விண்கலத்தில் உங்களது பெயரும், புகைப்படமும் இடம் பெற வேண்டுமா ? கீழே குறிப்பிட்டு இருக்கும் நாசா இணைய தளத்தில் உங்களது தகவல்களை பதியுங்கள்(இலவசமானது). இந்நிகழ்வில் பங்கேற்பவர்களுக்கு, நீங்கள் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும் விண்கலம் விண்ணிற்கு சென்று திரும்பியதும், தலைமை அதிகாரியின் (Mission Commander) கையொப்பமிட்ட கௌரவ சான்றிதலும் (commemorative certificate) வழங்கப்படும். இந்நிகழ்வில் பங்கேற்க தகுதி பங்கேற்பவருக்கு 13 அல்லது அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதாக இருக்க வேண்டும். மேஜராகாத குழந்தைகளுக்காக பெற்றோரோ பாதுகாவலரோ தகவல்களை அனுப்பலாம்.

Discovery's STS-133 mission

The STS-133 crew members are Commander Steven Lindsey, Pilot Eric Boe and Mission Specialists Alvin Drew, Michael Barratt, Tim Kopra and Nicole Stott. Discovery will deliver the Express Logistics Carrier 4 and critical spare components to the International Space Station. This will be the 35th shuttle mission to the station.

Endeavour's STS-134 mission

The STS-134 crew members are Commander Mark Kelly, Pilot Gregory H. Johnson and Mission Specialists Michael Fincke, Greg Chamitoff, Andrew Feustel and European Space Agency astronaut Roberto Vittori. Endeavour will deliver spare parts including two S-band communications antennas, a high-pressure gas tank, additional spare parts for Dextre and micrometeoroid debris shields. This will be the 36th shuttle mission to the International Space Station.

பொதுவாக அறிவியல் படிக்கும் போது மாணவர்களுக்கு சம்பந்தம் இல்லாத ஒரு விசயத்தை கற்பது போன்ற தோற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்துகிறது. எனவே அதன் மேலான ஆர்வத்தை குறைக்கிறது. ஆனால் இத்தளத்தில் இது தொடர்பான செயல் திட்டம், வீரர்கள், அறிவியல் தகவல்களை பெறவும் வாய்ப்பளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இது போன்ற வாய்ப்புக்கள் இன்றைய மாணவர்களிடம் அறிவியல், வானியல் பற்றிய ஆர்வத்தை அதிகரிக்கும் என்பது உறுதி.
